Marketplace Assistant 2.58.6 strengthens the inventory-import workflow for independent auto dealers. A vehicle can be prepared from a supported listing page, a dealer website, a CSV file, or a shared Google Sheet, then reviewed before it is used to create a Facebook Marketplace draft.
This release focuses on source accuracy and photo collection. The importer was checked against live CarGurus, Cars.com, CarsForSale, and AutoTrader pages, as well as structured Vehicle data on dealer websites. The Facebook limit remains a maximum of 20 available original photos per draft.

More complete photo collection
Some vehicle sites load only a preview set of images when the page first opens. Version 2.58.6 now opens the full Cars.com gallery before collecting photographs and improves recognition of gallery images across the supported sources.
Live checks collected 13 of 13 available photos from a tested CarGurus vehicle, 20 photos from Cars.com, 15 from CarsForSale, and 20 from AutoTrader. Results depend on what each source page makes available, and videos are not transferred.
Cleaner and more accurate vehicle data
The importer now handles more page-layout variations for fuel type, condition, body type, and location. Cars.com make detection was corrected for pages where a Manufacturer warranty section could interfere with the visible vehicle data.
AutoTrader descriptions are cleaner because service lines containing stock numbers, VIN headers, and Dealer Disclosure text are excluded instead of being copied into the seller description. Location parsing was also adjusted so a dealership name is not mistaken for a city.
Dealer websites, CSV, and Google Sheets
Marketplace Assistant can read supported vehicle information from structured Vehicle JSON-LD and visible content on dealer websites. Dealers can also bring in inventory rows from a CSV file or a Google Sheet that is accessible through the link they provide.
Website access is optional and requested only when the user chooses an import source. Imported data stays part of the local draft workflow and should always be checked against the vehicle and dealership records before publication.
Review-first publishing remains unchanged
Version 2.58.6 does not add automatic publishing or automatic deletion. Marketplace Assistant prepares the vehicle data and photographs, opens the Facebook workflow, and leaves the completed draft for the seller to inspect.
Review the VIN, year, make, model, trim, mileage, price, description, location, condition, optional Facebook fields, and every photograph before pressing Publish yourself. Facebook currently needs to be set to English (US) for the supported draft workflow.
